EBC Frequently Asked Questions

Does my department get charged?
The EBC provides everything you need to plan and execute a successful briefing, including facilities, audiovisual equipment, and assistance in crafting your messaging using subject matter experts.  Hospitality items such as food, refreshments, gifts and limo transportation are available and charged to the specified department.
                                                     
What services are available for my client?
Wireless and wired internet access is available for both guests and NEC employees.  Printing, faxing and copying services are also available.

What are the nearby hotels?  What should I use for transportation?
Lodging and transportation are the responsibility of the client and/or salesperson.  The EBC staff can provide hotel listings in the area with special EBC rates.  If limo service is required, the EBC staff will schedule this service with an outsourced transportation company and will charge to the specified department.  Refer to the Customer Brochure for more information.

What are our catering options?
All meals are provided by the area’s finest caterers, enabling us to meet any preference or special dietary need.  These expenses are billed to the specified department.

Where do we park and how do I get to the EBC?
Customized reserved parking will be provided in the parking garage.  For in-town clients, a GPS device is available upon request.  Refer to the Customer Brochure for more information.

How do I engage a NEC executive to attend?  Who does the NEC global overview presentation?
NEC executives recognize the importance of meeting customers and have made it their priority to be attend your meeting’s introduction period, schedules permitting.  The EBC staff will coordinate attendance with executives.  In addition, the NEC corporate overview will be used at the beginning of each meeting to ensure consistent messaging of NEC Corporation and NEC Unified Solutions.
